I do my very best to uplift and empower the people around me - especially under-resourced artisans who deserve far more spotlight and support.
If you’re in a position to do so, please consider donating clothing, shoes, fabric, deadstock, or any other materials that could find a second life.
Some of these donations will be used to create reworked pieces, upcycled designs, and brand new items. Others will be sold and the proceeds will go toward supporting a local NGO sewing school who manufactures some of Sol Cake’s items.

“A Beautifully Crafted, pocket full of sunshine Handbag”
I recently purchased a handbag from Celine after overhearing her chatting to someone about her handbags in a coffee shop. I have been looking for something durable, sustainable, fun and able to hold enough but not lose everything at the same time - it has a pocket for my phone (a small but fantastic detail) and then there is the colour - chartreuse ( which is the happiest yellow in the world) with a bright pink contrast stitch.
It feels fresh and happy but also that it will age with grace so that I can use it for many years to come!
I love supporting young, local creators, and this piece is a perfect example of why!

Backpack Review
I was looking to buy a backpack for short mountain hikes. Something small and easy to use but also of a decent quality.
Backpacks can be so expensive and with Temu and Shein dupes everywhere, you never know what kind of quality you’ll get buying online. When I came across Sol Cake, I immediately loved the vibe. It was expressive, colourful and felt like a great place.
I found the little backpack that I was looking for. The images on the site were accurate in terms of size and colour and the backpack was in pristine condition. Checkout was safe and easy too and I got my invoice and order number immediately!
I’ll definitely be shopping at Sol Cake again!
