Sol Cake’s items are carefully curated, created and sourced from a combination of thrift stores, donations, and cherished personal pieces from my own wardrobe, collected lovingly over the years.

Some pieces are upcycled, some previously loved and adored, and others brand new - baked from scratch, designed by me, with valuable input from my community.

Every locally crafted piece is produced right here in Cape Town by an inspiring collective of talented women and men, some of whom are proudly supported through an empowerment-focused NGO.

It has been incredible to learn alongside these amazing humans.

Sol Cake specializes in high-quality artisanal items, upcycled and previously loved clothing, apparel, and accessories.

Each piece is hand-selected and/or hand-crafted for its quality, uniqueness, and potential for reuse.

For pre-loved items, each piece is thoroughly inspected and cleaned to meet a quality standard before being listed for sale.

The condition of the item and any imperfections are noted in the description. :)

The baked from scratch and/or upcycled pieces follow a similar process, with careful thought given to every detail, from concept to manufacturing. Due to the handmade nature of artisanal items, slight variations may occur.

Both labeled sizes and actual fit recommendations are provided for each piece where necessary.

All transactions are securely processed to ensure the privacy and security of your information.

Due to the unique and limited nature of the items, reservations are currently not offered.

All products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Basically, get it while it’s hot.

Thrifting orders are typically processed and shipped within 3-4 business days.

Artisanal orders baked from scratch / pre-ordered items can take up to 15-20 business days.

At this time, only local shipping is offered.

I am continuing to explore this as an option, and I hope to offer this service in the near future.

Returns and exchanges are currently not offered.
